Bangladesh struggled in their chase, with only Towhid Hridoy providing any resistance. He scored 82 off 97 balls, but the rest of the batsmen failed to get going. Sri Lanka’s bowlers were disciplined and accurate, and they eventually bowled Bangladesh out for 236 in 48.1 overs.
This is a big win for Sri Lanka, who have now won their last 13 ODIs. They are now in a strong position to qualify for the final of the Asia Cup.
