Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma celebrates PepsiCo’s ‘Bhumi Pujan’ at Banekusi Khukhundi in Nalbari

Chief Minister of Assam Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma celebrates PepsiCo’s ‘Bhumi Pujan” at Banekusi Khukhundi in Nalbari today.

The venture to be set up at a cost of Rs 778 crore will produce food items.

Chief Minister Sharma also celebrated the 6th Bhumi Pujan of PepsiCo’s at Sholmari, Bonbhag in Nalbari.

Pepsi will start the whole project on about one hundred fifty bighas of land.

Currently, 118 lakh people are working in the PepsiCo industry.

A large number of bureaucrats including Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary, Jayanta Malla Baruah, Bimal Bora, Nandita Garlosa accompanied Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma with the “Bhoomi Pujan’ and ‘Shilanyas’ programme.
