Diphu: large quantities of Burmese Supari were seized at Diphu Railway Station in Assam on October 6, 2023 night. The seizure was made by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) during a routine check of the Tinsukia-Lumding passenger train.
The RPF seized 10 sacks of Burmese Supari, weighing a total of 500 kg. The supari was being concealed in the luggage compartment of the train.
