The Sankalp Saptaah programme will be implemented in all of the 500 aspirational blocks across 329 districts in the country. Each day in the programme will be dedicated to a specific development theme on which all aspirational blocks will work. The themes for the first six days include:
- Sampoorna Swasthya (Total Health)
- Suposhit Pariwaar (Well-Nourished Families)
- Swachhta (Cleanliness)
- Krishi (Agriculture)
- Shiksha (Education)
- Samridhi Diwas (Prosperity Day)
The last day of the week, October 9, 2023, will be a celebration of the work conducted during the entire week, as “Sankalp Saptaah – Samavesh Samaroh”.
Prime Minister Modi, while launching the programme, said that the Sankalp Saptaah is a unique opportunity for the people of aspirational blocks to come together and work towards a common goal. He urged the people to participate in the programme with full enthusiasm and make it a success.
