Training aircraft crashes near Maharastra’s Gojubavi village

Digital Desk: An aircraft made an emergency landing during a training session near Gojubavi village in the Pune district on Sunday, an official from the Pune rural office department said. Two people onboard the aircraft, including a trainee pilot and an instructor, sustained injuries and were rushed to a hospital.

The aircraft crashed at around 8 am, officials said.

In a statement released hours after the landing, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DCGA) said, “Red Bird Academy Tecnam aircraft VT-RBT made an emergency landing near Baramati airfield. The instructor and trainee are both safe. Further investigations is underway”.
