UPSC results declared: Assam’s Mayur Hazarika ranked fifth

The union public service commission (UPSC) declared the final results of the 2022 UPSC Civil Service Exam on Tuesday (May 23) afternoon.
Mayur Hazarika, hailing from Central Assam’s Tezpur, secured the fifth rank in the UPSC 2022 CSE exams that were held earlier.

Hazarika is a doctor by profession and is engaged with the national health mission (NHM) Assam.

On the other hand, the other six meritorious children of Assam who passed the test are Anjali Bhardwaj 271 place, Mohammad Idul Ahmed of Guwahati 298th place, Winsen Shailemthang Waifai of Jonai 619 place, Diksha Langthasa of Dima Hasao 664 place, Nivedita Das of Bajali 848 place and Manasjyoti Das of Namrup respectively.

Ishita Kishore is at the top of THE UPSC. Garima Lohia secured the second position, Uma Sarathi in third and Smriti Mishra in fourth place.

A total of 933 have passed in the third and final phase of this examination. Also, the Commission has maintained a consolidated reserve list of 178 candidates. Of these, 180 have been selected for the post of Indian Administrative Service in THE UPSC, 38 for the post of Indian Foreign Service, 200 for the post of Indian Police Service, 473 for the post of Central Service, Group ‘A’ (Central Services, Group ‘A’) and 13 for the post of Central Service, Group ‘B’.
